Flangers are something I just warmed up to in recent years, and Geometry Stacks is my kind of flanger—lots of room to tweak and fine-tune it, but it still feels contained and curated instead of overwhelming. All dialed extremely tastefully, whether it’s classic flange sounds, lush chorus, hollow/tubular negative flange, or wackier stuff with the Extend switch engaged. To me, it feels like a perfect balance of “conventional” and “weird”, and it sounds amazing. If you’re a flange lover, you’ll wanna check it out.

Ok I’ve posted a few atypical settings Geometry Stacks clips but it’s a beautiful day here in Baltimore and I’m breaking out the big swoosh. Dirt here courtesy of Impossible Colors. Happy Geometry Stacks day! A little trip down memory lane and then we’re off to the races. Check the Geometry Stacks page on our site for some clips and find this lovely purple sparkle box of swirls in our shop and at your favorite dealers.
I really like Geometry Stacks before gain because the shifting and swirling frequency notches give the amp something to chew on without the entire mix being converted to jet plane swoosh. You get little sections that poke out in a magical way that brings life to an otherwise simple performance.
This is the first Geometry Stacks proto that had the full feature set of the final pedal. There were probably half a dozen other designs before this with different configurations but when I powered this one up and calibrated it for the first time it just had all the magic.
Morning Geometry Stacking here by the window. Quick vibrato flange in the negative mix setting and Extend mode for an airy texture that floats around the melody here. Also getting back into the hang of playing a 7 string after MANY years away. Feels like 2001 again 🥰
This coming Friday we’re releasing Geometry Stacks, an analog flanger I have been working on for a very long time. It does all the big sweeps like your favorites and some new tricks too. In accordance with flanger law, it is purple. Because it is a BSRI pedal, it is sparkly. Swipe for a little slow moving resonator texture.
