Happy birthday to the most amazing human on this planet!!! šŸŽ‚šŸŽ‰ I’m so lucky to have you in my life and so proud of all that you’ve accomplished in yours. You bring so much joy, passion, and care into every aspect of the things you touch and the people you surround yourself with. You make the world a better place every day just by being you. I know growing older can be a little scary but each day is a new day of learning, loving, and being better than the last. To think that we still have so much more to experience and so much more growing to do is fun and exciting! I can’t wait to do it all alongside you (and Nyx). Thank you for being such an amazing wife, friend, dog mama, Disneyland companion, camping/hiking partner, and side by side adventurer. Cheers to the you and the birthdays to come! I love you Stephanie! ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

What an absolutely jam packed year 2025 has been. To think not only did we plan a wedding and get married this year, but all the other traveling and things we’ve done. 2025 was truly a magical and the most amazing year ever. There are so many photos to share of all the things we did and I’ll try to show as much as I can. I can’t wait for 2026 and to continue the lifelong adventures we have ahead of us!

First Christmas as the Luz-Sansone family ā¤ļø and also the first time being away from Chicago for the holidays. We made the most of the last week and had a great time celebrating here in LA. Happy to be around some family and being able to start new traditions and celebrations as a married couple. ā˜ƒļøšŸŽšŸŽ„

Our wedding day was absolute perfection through and through. Countless hours and stressful nights went into making this day happen, all the way up to even the night before, and it was 1000% worth it. So much went on that day, so many emotions, so much nonstop energy. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Stephanie, I loved you so much before our wedding day, even more on our wedding day, and even more than that after our wedding day! My love for you will never stop growing and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us! To our friends and family, we are so very thankful of those who could make it out to Orlando and wake up early for our ceremony. We know it was a big trip, so it means a lot to have your love and support, and we hope you had as much fun as we did. And we definitely can’t forget all the vendors who played a part in our day and performed above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly and make the day absolutely magical. Thank you everyone, we are deeply grateful!

After the reception we got in a short hour nap but quickly had to get ready again for our evening dessert party. We got to experience a once in a life time walk from the front of Epcot to the back where Italy is. Us, our wedding party, and all our guests were escorted to our party area and the entire way there we were met with cheers from the Epcot guests, I’ve never felt more like a celebrity than in that moment. Shoutout to Stephanie for doing the almost mile long walk in heels and her wedding dress! The dessert party was such a fun and intimate time, we got to actually spend time talking to our guests which we didn’t get much time to do at the reception. We did have some unexpected but welcome surprises. With us being located near the stage in America we got to hear the band performing and it turns out it was Simple Plan, a band Stephanie’s listened to countless times growing up and holds close to her heart! What’s even more crazy is that they performed the song All Star by Smash Mouth which is so funny because Shrek has been a major theme in our wedding journey, with a Shrek theme wedding shower and Shrek showing up on tv’s during Stephanie’s bachlorette party. Shrek is everywhere! We also got to witness a SpaceX launch in the sky. All happy little surprises to make the day that much better. When the firework show started we got some insanely cool photos. To end the super long and crazy wedding day, we had one last surprise for everyone. We gathered all our guests around and announced, we are all going on a ride! Our guests got to choose between Guardians Cosmic Rewind or Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. They were all excited and surprised again. It was all just so magical and was the perfect day through and through.

Continuing on from the post I made yesterday about the reception. The reception had so many emotions put into it, from laughter to crying, excitement, and everything in between. We couldn’t have asked for a better party. The speeches that are friends and family made were so heartfelt we could really feel the love from them. The Mickey waffles for brunch were delicious. We got to see our live painter, Ha Pham, at work creating her masterpiece of our ceremony and we even got to put our own little touches to it. Gala Photobooth brought a fun little activity for us and our guests to enjoy with keepsake film strips to bring home. Last but not least, a surprise visit from Donald and Goofy! We were so excited to have them attend our wedding and surprise our guests with their appearance, no one had any idea they would show up. We were also super lucky with our requested costumes they wore, adorning their uniforms from Kingdom Hearts.

This next section is going to be a 2 parter because there are so many pictures to show and things to talk about. Following the ceremony, our reception took place in the St Augustine ballroom at the elegant Grand Floridian Resort. We wanted lots of color and flowers to decorate the room just like how we had with our ceremony. This can be seen with our table settings, uplighting, cake design, and sweethearts table. Shoutout to Bluegrass Floral for the decorations and our coordinator Stephanie Klotz for helping set things up! We got to get a sneak peek of the entire setup before guests arrived in and Stephanie and I were blown away with how it all looked. There’s only so much you can say and imagine and just hope that your vision comes to life and it did! We made a grand entrance for our guests with a surprise first dance. I’ve never performed like this in front of people in any sense so it was definitely a nerve wracking experience but I locked in and did my best! We performed a swing dance routine that was choreographed by our dance teacher Rusty Frank in El Segundo. Rusty is a phenomenal teacher and was able to teach us this routine in just a few weeks and we got such a great response from our guests! We are so grateful to have found Rusty and have her teach us how to swing dance. I also enjoyed dancing with my mom to You’ll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins and seeing Stephanie do karaoke with her dad to Hakuna Matata.
