It was such a gift to get back into the theater with some truly inspiring artists. So much love for this play, these people, and my craft. Let's do it again sometime? . . @lexfigueroa_ @jack_weerts @zoie_ellis @14th_and_l

This year was hard and beautiful I turned 30 I finished grad school with an MFA I directed four projects, one of them was my thesis film that I'm very proud of I Intimacy Coordinated on 22 projects I got a new niece and a new nephew I went to Europe  I traveled alone I learned a LOT I healed from a painful breakup I lost my uncle I got some of the best therapy I've ever had I figured out who I am alone, when my phone is off and no one is around I lost my dog, best buddy, my most familiar soul I spent most of the year very broke I cried more than the rest of my life combined I was vulnerable  I deepened relationships that mean the world to me I ate some amazing food I got stronger  I started running again I started my yoga practice again I read 18 books(I know that's not a ton but after being in school for two years it's important) I got the stomach flu. Twice.  I became more gentle with myself I wrote 167 poems I got to spend time with you! My friends, my dear ones I mourned and grieved and celebrated I surprised myself The world surprised me PC: @ali_rosenthal from graduation day, thanks beauty!

Feeling so grateful to have worked with an incredible team on this project. Everyone who helped tell this story is a powerful artist and I'm so lucky to learn from you all. Somehow, we had a ton of fun telling a really painful story, and a team that can do both of those things elegantly is pretty rare. It's a gift to know you all and tell stories with you. This movie took blood sweat and tears to make. I'm so proud of the work my team did to pull off this big swing, and I came out with collaborators I plan on working with for years to come. @layniemitchell and @anna.telfer are truly spellbinding and I can't wait for audiences to be completely in awe of them. @aubree_bouche and @leslie.stevens.927 are heartbreaking, and @alexherrald builds an entire world with his performance. I love this cast of actors. To our entire cast, crew, and donors, I'm forever grateful. Get ready to watch!!
