Happy Mother’s Day to our SuperMom @imangelyeo . Continuously amazed by how you hold it all together for our two girls + me through whatever life throws our way, and still finding the energy to smile through the chaos. The three of us are so lucky to have you. With your love and support, I get to keep growing into the husband and dad I want to be. Thank you for everything you give, fight for, and build for us. We love you so much. ❤️
For this month’s issue, Bryan Liu and Amanda Liu, siblings and next-generation leaders of Golden ABC, share how they are reshaping the future of one of the Philippines’ most influential retail groups—the company behind @penshoppe , @oxgnfashion , @forme , @memo_fashion , @regattalifestyle , @boculifestyle , and @sipp.notyourusualcup .
Grounded in the values and business discipline instilled by their parents, Golden ABC founders and executives Bernie Liu and Alice Liu, the siblings are building on a formidable legacy while responding to the demands of a changing market.
With a leadership approach defined by creativity, innovation, and a strong sense of identity, they offer a compelling view of how family businesses can evolve while remaining true to the foundations that made them matter.

Yes - all those Japan memes and reels you are seeing are true. Sumimasens to extra luggage needs and long lines ending with that quiet sepanx when you leave and are back home. All true and worth it ❤️ til next time, Japan! Thank you for the much needed break 🥲
Every time I’m in Japan, I’m reminded why this place is impossible not to fall for. It’s clean and safe, chaotic and calm, traditional and eccentric all at once. A place where I can be quiet and disappear for a while… or get swept up in the noise and energy of the city. Somehow, no matter what I’m looking for, Japan gives me exactly that… and a part of me never wants to leave. Yes, all those Japan trip memes are true ✌🏼
Third-generation business mavericks, Penshoppe Vice President Brandon Liu and Vice President for Strategy and Operations Bryan Liu, are deadset on continuing their family's culture of success.
"When people see major global names wearing Penshoppe, it instills a sense of pride and shows that the Filipino indeed can.”

Watching you become a mother to our girls has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. Your love, your strength, your patience—it’s what anchors our family. I see how much you carry, how you give yourself so fully, and how you lead our daughters with a kind of grace that inspires me to endure and be more for us. This is our first Mother’s Day apart, and not being by your side today makes me realize how much you mean to me and our family. I love you, I see you, and I’m so, so thankful for you. Happy Mother’s Day to the heart of our home, and the most incredible mom our daughters could ever ask for. Love you forever!
5/♾️ – Five of our forever. Half a decade of storms and sunshine, cancellations and spontaneity, laughter and tears. Vomits and giggles, bedtimes and tantrums, and two rounds of morning sickness. Through it all, I’d choose you every time. Love you endlessly ❤️
"Nothing in life worthwhile comes easy." This has been on my Facebook bio page for as long as I can remember, and over the years, different life principles have resonated with me to reinforce it—"Get out of your comfort zone," "Choose discomfort and you choose growth," "Lead by example," and "Leaders eat last." While these continue to guide me, the most recent reminder that's been echoing in my mind when faced with challenges is to "choose my hard."
I've recently caught the "I (eventually) want to run a marathon" fever. Every pre-sunrise alarm to run before work, every temptation to watch "just one more episode" instead of going to bed early, and even choosing a freezing shower over a warm one—these are all choices that remind me of my original principle. It hasn't been easy, but it's been rewarding.
After a few months, I'm happy to share that I've seen some personal wins: shedding a few kilos, becoming more focused and productive, improving my mood and energy levels, and best of all, keeping up with my hyper-energized toddler. But I also want to acknowledge that not everyone has the same set of choices or privileges. I’m lucky to have the time, resources, and support to focus on these goals, and I know that’s not always the case for everyone.
Everyone’s journey looks different, and what motivates me might not resonate the same way with others. Still, I hope this little reminder inspires you as it has inspired me in my own journey.
Happy weekend, and here’s to making choices that help us grow in our own ways—wherever we are in life.

Happiest birthday to my soulmate and bestfriend @imangelyeo - thank you for being our biggest supporter through all you do for family. I don't know what life would be like without you and I thank God every day that we have each other. Even though one of my goals is to beat you in tennis, know that I will always have your back and I'll love ya forever ❤️
Africa Post - Giraffes. They are majestic and can be weird. I find them 'alien-like' - long necks and thin legs, pointy antenna-like ears with a long snout. No two giraffes can have the same pattern (like fingerprints to us humans). They have to do a small split and curtsey when they drink water from the ground and do a small whip of their head back to spit excess water back out (photo #4). They have blue tongues and their saliva is highly antiseptic so they're safe to eat thorny and sharp food from trees. They are highly punctual and creatures of habit. And if they get aggressive or territorial, they throw the weight of their long necks as a form of attack. Weird and majestic. I love them!
