Treasury Building | built this for someone who worked here for many years — and it ended up being one of the most scale-accurate architecture models I’ve designed! It covers the whole building plus a front plaza, Liberty Bell sculpture on the side, and LOTS of columns. Another great chance to work in “architecture scale” and not a small one either at 1500+ pieces!

Happy May the 4th! Lightspeed back to this mini Boba Fett helmet I designed in collaboration with @jbspielwaren ! Seemed like the right holiday to break open the box!! #starwars
Thanks @solvangbrickandbuilds for a bricktastic LEGO weekend!! Lots of Lord of the Rings fans out here — maybe because Solvang itself looks like it’s pulled out of a Tolkien book?? All this to say I ran out of Middle-Earth trivia prizes too quickly. Always great to chat about Dune, LOTR, and my latest Universal Monster builds, and loved exploring the town with @ana13huerta — excited to come back next year!🧱
The Bride of Frankenstein | only on screen for a few minutes but gave us one of the most iconic horror looks ever! This movie is an all-timer. The scene with the old man in the cabin (both original and Young Frankenstein versions)🔥

The Invisible Man | part 2 of my #universalmonsters series! This movie from 1933 is one of my all-time favorites! Visual effects are crazy for the time and it gets shockingly dark at the end. If you’re in LA, come check out the monster builds along with a host of other creations at #brickcentricla in Burbank this weekend!
It’s aliiiiive! The first in a series of classic Universal monsters I’m excited to bring to #brickcentric over the weekend!
The 1930s Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein are two of my favorite movies ever.

The year of new LEGO experiences! Mostly thanks to visiting the motherland of the brick. Worked on a few builds — including a BIG one for Dune Prophecy — and made some special memories at LEGO House, Legoland Billund, Skaerbaek and more with @ana13huerta and @laurenfirks
Excited for what next year will bring with this hobby - and the best part is I have no idea what that’ll be yet!!
Holy Campus, Batman! This year I’ve gotten lots of requests for replicas of school buildings. As someone who will literally try to visit a college in every new city just to look at the architecture, I’m not complaining!
- Henley Gate at UCSB (my mom’s alma mater!)
- Russ Hall at Pittsburgh State
- Pilgrim School in LA
- Uris Library at Cornell

Uris Library, Cornell | at 2500 pieces, this is my largest design with instructions to date! Some challenges were including a full bookshelf interior with tiered walkways, and elevating the base to incorporate the “fishbowl” underground windows that are a distinct feature of the real thing.
Big projects like this are always tricky to pull off with instructions — stability, ease of building, limiting repetition, etc — but it’s super fulfilling when it finally comes together.

“Into the mines!!” I updated my microscale Mines of Moria with a new door of Durin!
This location has for sure been the trickiest part of my #micromiddleearth project and I keep finding little ways to tweak it! Let me know if you recognize the part used for the door decoration😊
It was pretty cool to see the doors’ supposed inspiration in England earlier this year, even if it didn’t let me speak friend and enter.
