Today we celebrated several of our students in our SAILs program who are graduating from high school this year. This is one of the best moments to celebrate and we couldnāt be more proud!!
Congratulations are in order for Mrs. Tate and Mrs. Addison who were grant winners from the Bryan Rotary. We love the work you put in with our students and appreciate the Bryan Rotary for their support!
Congratulations to Bryan High School English teacher Cynthia Dominguez, who was recognized by The GiveJoy Foundation with the Joy of Teaching Award today!
The award recognizes educators who embody and promote quality teaching, demonstrate a commitment to professional excellence, promote innovating learning opportunities, inspire students and parents, and help grow the teaching profession.
Ms. Dominguez was nominated by her peers and students to receive the award. One of her nominators said, āSeeing her volunteer alongside the Bryan ISD Student Ambassador (program) and Habitat for Humanity BCS taught me that leadership isnāt just talking about change. Itās working for it. She showed me what it means to care, to give, and to lead with purpose, and I will carry that lesson with me forever.ā
With this recognition, Ms. Dominguez received a certificate, a new plant for her classroom, and an all-inclusive Caribbean vacation!
Congratulations, Ms. Dominguez, and thank you for all you do! We are proud to help recognize her hard work and dedication and are grateful to partner with such great organizations as the GiveJoy Foundation!
