@adepticon 2026 haul! My pick of the show this year is absolutely Oasis: Tactical Salvage Reclamation and not just because they gave me a press kit of cool stuff and a special thanks/in memoriam in their ship recognition guide. Lots of great small/micro-press zine stuff is always standout for me like Lyctor and Solstice from Black Site Studios and of course a million cool stickers and such. Also quite stoked on the copy of Sunrot that was given to me by the game’s creator!
Really excited to try these new paint+primer NuWorlds airbrush paints that were given to me by the kind folks at Iwata Airbrushes. Could be a real game changer/time saver from what they tell me.
Finally, I’m always a sucker for a good starter set so I couldn’t resist the new Fallout Factions two player box set. I’ve had a half baked idea to do a post-apocalyptic PNW board for ages so this might be the nudge I need to finally make that happen.

Getting into #Warmaster was not part of my 2026 plans but when a friend surprises you with bags and bags of every possible model for a Dark Elf army you just get to it and paint up a 1k starter list. This has been a super fun project and if I didn’t have other time sensitive things to work on instead I’d probably just keep at it. Excited to return to this army with an expanded 2k list before long!

Tried out the new edition Zone Mortalis rules for the first time. A classic matchup, My little Dark Angels force vs Night Lords. Fun stuff and fast paced. Definitely looking forward to more of this format. I do miss the 2e reserves/deployment subsystem for ZM but I suspect we’ll see it expanded in a journal before long.
