Everything we ate flying Business Class from Hong Kong to Brisbane on @cathaypacific 🥂We started off the trip in style with champagne on arrival. 🍴Lunch after take off- duck amuse-buche and entree: creamy and aromatic spiced cauliflower soup. You have to try their garlic bread which is amazing and perfect for mopping up early last drop Lunch main course- lamb shoulder confit with spiced jus. We were super excited to try the dish collaboration with @louise.hkg - French Michelin star restaurant 🌟The lamb was so tender with great depth of flavour and we loved that it was paired beautifully with a leaf salad in tangy balsamic vinaigrette to cut through the richness Dessert- we couldn’t decide on just 1 so we had 2 desserts from the dessert cart. The chrysanthemum and logan jelly so light with lovely floral notes. The 3 cheese platter was the perfect size- really hit the spot with a glass of red 🍷 Light meal before landing - Reuben sandwich. It was packed to the brim and oh so saucy. Brisbane’s newest fire-fuelled dining playground 🔥🍽️ Open from 6AM-3AM, this venue is doing it all with a café, rooftop bar, restaurant and underground speakeasy all under one roof. The 9 course chef’s menu is the best way to experience their signature dishes, and there were some serious standouts. The beef tartare, juicy pork neck, silky prawn and crab ravioli and the creamy white chocolate koji caramel dessert. The venue is still evolving and finding its feet with service and execution. While the bread unfortunately missed the mark a little for us, the potential is definitely there.
