A few final stops…

So Long! I’m not quite sure how to fit 15+ years into 20 pictures, nor am I capable of gathering the words to describe those 15 years. All I’ve been able to do is look through old albums to spark memories. What started out as a brief stint in Milwaukee to grab my degree before (ideally) moving to Chicago turned into lifelong friendships, building a career, adopting my best friend, seeing a city evolve, championships - You name it, we did it. Given there was no true “going away party” we’ll throwing a true sendoff April 29th at @wiggleroommke paired with the legendary @_halfspeed Thank you, Milwaukee. I love you! Onto Raleigh - Let’s do it! Now onto to the quick bullet points: • Paid rent with DJ money • Adopted my boy (Graham, Ham, Dingo, Ziggy, Simon) • Biked my first Century • Ran my first marathon • Lived with my closest friends • Bought the 4Runner (one of my dream vehicles) • Found my love for photography (through @joshgrowth ) • Participated in protests during 2020 • Watch the Bucks win a championship • DJ’d the Bucks official after party • Contributed to the growth of Sound By Design with some of my closest friends • Participated in the growth in MKE NYE, Milwaukee’s annual NYE experience • Supported the undertaking of the largest annual block party Milwaukee holds - Night Market • Enjoyed countless concerts (The Who, Diplo, Phish, Glass Animals, Mac Demarco, Lumineers, etc) • Threw multiple boat parties • Family and friends beginning relationships and watch them grow into marriages • DJ’d some of Wisconsin’s top athletes weddings • My niece was born in Milwaukee • Watched countless sunrises and sunsets • Annual Bastille Day Run’s

Where’d the time go?

Wisconsin, you welcomed us like one of your own. Genuine people that immediately turned into friendships and sharing the stoke out in the water🤙🏼 We knew where we wanted to go and what to do - but the outcome seems so surreal, it was kismet. Before even checking into our place, we knew we had to stop at @lakeeffectsurfshop . See what that had, but to also appreciate the space and the culture that came with it. @biglakejake was also there - we got to chatting and we recognized the amount of respect he has for his locals and his surf scene he brought to the Atwater area - even giving us a few key tips when getting into the water. While this was happening, ironically @brudny was there capturing this key moment for all of us. That next day, driving up the coast - making little pit stops along the way to see the waves, we got the boards out and ready to ride in Sheboygan. What a solid morning out on the water. Seeing about 20 surfers out there just made us more stoked! Meeting some new faces, connecting with ones we’ve only chatted with via social media, and also running into some of our fave Michiganders @josiahhuisman and @ellynskodack - it made jumping off the pier to riding every party wave together that much better. We then caught up with our buddy Andrew over at @eossurf - checked out his space and chatted about all the upcoming things we’re lining up - it was a huge moment for us. (big things coming soon!) Connecting with people that share the same stoke as you is a great feeling. This is an anniversary / business trip that made a forever impact on us. Can’t wait to go back. ✌🏼- D+Z
