I’m deeply grateful to the sisters Prljević who made my time at @4_vode special and meaningful. Beyond writing the project, I witnessed what solidarity looks like in practice, learned so much about the working-class history of Užice, slava customs, and about the constant, yet often invisible, physical and emotional labor required to sustain a community. In a world torn apart by ecological and social crises, it gives me hope to know that environments where care, nurture, creativity, and collective practices remain central still exist. Of course, none of this would have been possible without Luna, Lajka, Loki, and Srećka, who bring so much joy and make Four Waters feel complete. To close my stay, @jprljevic , @milojkaprljevic , and I shared a special moment planting a walnut tree in memory of baba Ljubica - Ljuba, who sadly passed away during my time at the Four Waters. May its presence remind future generations of the strength, love, and resilient spirit that she embodied. - Brankica @brrran ❤️ 📸 @brrran @jprljevic @prljevic Prevod u komentaru

In August last year, I spent some time at the Four Waters Residency, a place created by the sisters Prljević and their family. During the residency, I began developing a research project that explores memory and gesture embedded in everyday clothes and objects. This process has led me to revisit intimate family narratives, exploring how garments that no longer exist continue to shape memory,  longing, and intergenerational connection.   A few glimpses from a hot, late afternoon when Milojka opened her closet and let us play with her clothes. Together, we walked down memory lane, exploring the stories, emotions, and symbolic meanings that garments carry across years and generations. Brankica Sanadrović (@brrran ) studied at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and currently lives and works in Paris. She works across costume, set, and fashion design. Her practice engages with ceremonies and rituals, exploring liminal spaces between everyday life and utopia and ideas of collective renewal. 📸 @brrran @jprljevic @prljevic 🎶 Bebi Dol - Zmaj Prevod u komentaru.

Process behind the Kombucha Adidas sculpture, created with @brrran for @fashionclash_festival . The piece is part of a series of sculptures which explores how individuals perceive community and its connection to clothing. Conversations with participants during intimate body casting sessions got translated into kombucha SCOBY leather sculptures. #kombucha #kombuchaleather

Process images of the Kombucha Corset, a piece developed as part of a collaborative project with Brankica Sanadrovic (@brrran ) ❤️. The project examines how individuals perceive community and its relationship to clothing. Through intimate body casting sessions, participant conversations were translated into kombucha scoby leather sculptures, a material that demands patience and care. The project was realized over several months and presented at Fashionclash Festival 2025 in Maastricht. #kombucha #kombuchaleather #corset

✨ A moment of being, transfigured. ✨ Through this project I investigated ceremonies and rituals as a liminal phase between real life and utopia as well as the dialectical relation between carnivalesque and world renewal. Only by stepping outside of ourselves, can we find ourselves reborn. Photo @olesyaparfenyuk Makeup and hair @gluesica Model @noemission
