So I checked out Broyé Cafe & Bakery. This location is on Fraser in Vancouver Vancouver’s annual Cherry Blossom Food Festival is back and runs from March 20th to May 3rd this year. They have some amazing vendors Broyé Cafe was among them so I had to try them out! Broyé’s offerings include: - Waffle Bloom: Crisp waffle shell layered with light sponge cake, velvety mascarpone cream, and house-made fruit sauce, finished with fresh seasonal fruit. Available in Mango, Strawberry, or Banana. - Gyoku Viet Latte (HIGHLY RECCOMEND): Silky coconut milk blend layered over ice with robust Vietnamese coffee and vivid matcha. Tropical creaminess meets roasted intensity and refined green tea notes. - Sakura Matcha Latte: Earthy matcha meets soft cherry blossom sweetness in this creamy, pastel-perfect latte. Lightly floral, lightly sweet. Each of the Waffle Blooms were delicious! I particularly enjoyed the mascarpone cream that added a rich element to the fruits and the light sponge cake. Both drinks were grey but the Gyoku Viet Latte was awesome - having Viet Coffee + Matcha was such a treat and I’d definitely recommend it! All items mentioned here are available for the entire duration of the Cherry Blossom Food Festival so please make sure you stop by and check them out! I think it’s also important to note that the Food Festival isn’t just the food, but there are cool incentives as well such as the festival passport, festival missions, community crawls and the fun Gacha machines soon to be available at specific vendors!
