On April 23, we celebrated a special milestone at the newly expanded @browardcountycc with a dedication ceremony for 𝘍𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘍𝘢𝘶𝘯𝘢! This permanent public artwork, a terrazzo floor mural created by internationally recognized artist @martindonlinartist through Broward County’s Public Art & Design Program, is inspired by the natural beauty of Broward County and the Caribbean. Flowing water, coral reefs, schools of fish, and celestial elements come together to reflect the movement and rhythm of this place. Broward-based artist @dariusdaughtry joined the project as an Allied Artist, weaving original poetry directly into the piece and adding a powerful local voice to the experience. Now welcoming visitors from around the world, 𝘍𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘍𝘢𝘶𝘯𝘢 is a beautiful new addition and a lasting reflection of our community. #BrowardArts The Cultural Division’s Public Art & Design Program is made possible with support from the Broward County Board of County Commissioners.

50 years in and you might start seeing this around! Our 50th logo is making its way through the community, showing up in all kinds of places and moments. Spotted here with County Administrator Monica Cepero and our Director Phil Dunlap! It’s a small mark with a big story behind it. 50 years of creativity, culture, and the people who built it. Keep an eye out—you never know where it’ll show up next. Or… claim one for your own space 👀 #BrowardArts #BrowardArts50

Thinking about #EarthDay? Let’s take it outside 🌎🌿 Some of the best art in Broward doesn’t just sit in nature, it’s part of it. Inspired by the Everglades and local waterways, these Public Art & Design installations bring that connection to life: 𝘐𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘎𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘯 by Lorna Jordan at Long Key Natural Area is one you walk through, where winding paths, water, and native elements slowly bring the Everglades back into focus 𝘞𝘩𝘪𝘳𝘭𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘸𝘪𝘳𝘭𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢 𝘝𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘹 𝘰𝘯 𝘞𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 by @aliceaycock at Central Broward Regional Park captures the movement of wind and water, turning those natural forces into something you can see and feel 𝘛𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘢 𝘍𝘶𝘨𝘪𝘵 by Mags Harries and Lajos Héder at Miramar Regional Park blends marshland and design into a space that makes you slow down and take it all in @browardparks are a pretty great place to spend Earth Day, if you ask us. Which artwork is your fave: 1, 2, or 3? 👀 #BrowardArts

IGNITE Broward 2026 ✨ A space where people returned, reconnected, and felt part of something larger: open to all, without barriers, without cost. Because when art is truly accessible, it does more than exist, it belongs. And this belongs to everyone. What remains is not only what was seen, but what was felt. The music that made people stay longer than planned. Conversations that began between strangers. The feeling of stepping into the unexpected and not wanting to leave. “I’ve been here every night.” “We look forward to this every year.” “What a gift to the community.” This is what defines the experience. Our deepest thanks to the artists, collaborators, and the entire team whose work, care, and dedication made this possible.

#TortugaMusicFestival is in full swing this weekend! It might be the reason you’re in town, but it’s definitely not the only thing worth exploring… 🎨 @madarts_space in Dania Beach: If you’re into bold, immersive art that feels more like an experience than a museum, this is your spot. 🖼 @nsuartmuseum : Need a break from the crowds? Pop in for an easy, air-conditioned reset with contemporary and global art that’s fun to explore at your own pace. 🧜‍♀️ Mermaid Show at @boceanresort : Head to the iconic Wreck Bar for an underwater mermaid show. Catch it Thursday before the festival kicks off, or swing by Sunday for their “Brunch Under the Sea” on your way out of town. 🌴 Art in North Beach Village: Take a stroll and you’ll run into colorful murals, hidden gems, and photo ops you didn’t plan for but will definitely want. 🏡 @bonnethouse : When you need a breather, this is your reset. Lush gardens, historic home, and a totally different pace just minutes from the beach. Come for the music, stay for everything else you didn’t plan for 😉 Which one are you adding to your weekend plans? #BrowardArts The Cultural Division is supported by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners.
