Fantasy Basel was an absolute blast.
We reconnected with so many familiar faces and made a bunch of amazing new friends. Honestly, it’s wild how much one great event can shift your whole mindset.
I was seriously considering stepping away from cosplay after Gale this year. But now, I can’t help thinking how much I’d miss it—and how much this hobby has given me, both personally and mentally. The memories, the creativity, the friendships… it’s more than just costumes. It’s still a big part of me/us.
Maybe I’m not too old to keep this going (even if my body occasionally disagrees 😅). Maybe it’s time not just to return, but to level up.
Big thanks to everyone who inspired, encouraged me and lit that spark again over the past few days—you really made this experience something special. 🖤
