Classic Ranger vibes on the newest @terracrew episode featuring the homie @broseph4 and his beautiful, @btffabrication equipped Ranger. Joe’s truck is one of the few rangers we’ve seen running Brandon’s beam setup. It’s simple, clean, and period correct all the way down to the 15in walker evans. 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Saturday we went from Big Bear to Pioneertown and the route we took was a wild one that prerunners had no business being on but it was still a blast, until my fuel pump started giving up. But adventures with friends is always a good time! @bp_built thanks for the help and tow
Here’s some ranger info: 1996 3.0 v6 5 speed, 3 seater, dom & chromoly tube work from bumper to bumper, BTF equal length beams that use 4x4 explorer beams ends & knuckles, crossover steering with ram assist, Howe power steering pump, 35” BFG projects on 5x4.5 15” Walker Evan’s beadlocks, “14 2.5 fox coilovers, 3 tube bypasses, 4” stroke 2.0 hydraulic bump stops in the front with 17” of travel, 4 link with 16” 2.5 coilovers, 18” 3.0 5 tube bypasses, 4” stroke 2.0 hydraulic bump stops in the rear with 27” of travel, 9” Currie rear end with 35 spline axles, Detroit Eaton locker, 32 gallon fuel cell and tons of other things. Sitting in the garage is a 383 stroker with a th400 transmission and 1” kingpin beams. Sure it needs all the fiberglass painted and a custom back window made but being a single homeowner puts the brakes on a lot of upgrades. It may be slower than big v8 trucks but as long as I can beat on it in the desert with a smile from ear to ear, that’s all I truly care about. I can’t wait for next desert season :)
