Over the last year, I’ve interviewed 172 people from behind the camera. Yes, I counted!
Each person excited to tell their story, to get their message out.
It’s a pivotal moment for them, and many get nervous when the camera is rolling. But it’s something AI can never take away: real people sharing their real experiences in a bid for real connection.
I feel it when I ask them questions, when they’re framed up without a script, or when they’re searching for just the right words to say.
In the pause before an answer. In the moment something honest finally comes out.
That’s the work - it’s not just about filming people, it’s about helping them feel comfortable enough to be seen and heard.
And 172 interviews in, that’s the part I love to show up for!
Most days my “office” looks a little different. ⚾️
Spent the evening yesterday at Surprise Stadium filming a corporate event during spring training. Go team!
It was so much fun working with this crew and capturing moments on stage! Great people, great energy, and seriously great music. And this last week, the Thomas James Band dropped a new album, too — and it’s so good! 🔥
If you haven’t listened to them yet, you’re missing out. Look them up wherever you stream your music!
