As of this last week, we started donating our produce overage to @iohnyc , who do incredible work rescuing food and getting it out to the people!! Their help is crucial in helping us reduce waste and making sure that the neighborhood gets fed.
The free fridge pictured is on van buren between throop and Marcus Garvey is open 24/7 and stocked multiple times a day.

Introducing…. Olu! Olu is a PhD sociology student at NYU who is trailing and working with the Packers this summer! Her research interests include cooperative economic, race and ethnicity. She precious worked in the food space organizing with the Central Brooklyn Food Coop. We’re so happy to have her, welcome Olu!
