Around 25 original pre-war Bugattis gathered at Brooklands Museum today - creating an incredible scene at the home of the world’s first purpose-built race circuit.
As they lined up on the finishing straight for the gathering, and then made their way off for their drive into the Surrey countryside, it’s a reminder that there’s nowhere quite like Brooklands Museum for seeing iconic vehicles come to life with such style and class.

Today marks 81 years since VE Day - the end of the Second World War in Europe.
At Brooklands Museum, wartime history is part of our story and can be experienced all around the site. During the war, Brooklands was a major part of Britain’s aircraft production and engineering story, with thousands contributing to the effort both on the ground and in the air.
Today is a moment to reflect on the people who served, worked, sacrificed and lived through those years, to give thanks and to remember the impact the war had on generations across Britain and beyond.

Our 2026 Brooklands Innovation Academy (BIA) year-round STEM programme is well underway with our first events delivered this spring from Zero Petroleum and Haleon.
The first event led by Zero Petroleum took place across two dates, 26 February and 16 April, and saw students work in teams to design a fully sustainable infrastructure to power a Zero production plant, presenting to a board their findings and designs.
Maths Day on 12 March, delivered by our lead sponsor, Haleon alongside Axiom Maths, saw 48 local pupils explore the real-world application of Mathematics through hands-on workshops across the day. They got to make their own toothpaste whilst learning about clinical trials and statistical tests. They then explored the concept of “maths circles” and the power of teamwork and problem solving.
We’re looking forward to welcoming pupils this Thursday for our SEND STEM event day in partnership with Lab22.
