When @technicoloursuper888 came to me at @abbotsfordconvent@artisan_market_australia and said they would love to work with me, I responded with a big yes please!! A bit later I noticed @brookidesign had an egg shirt and next door @tvtherapy_jewellery had cutlery themed jewellery and I saw a picture in my head that matched my egg head pieces. My beautiful friend @rubymaemills from @maison_mush was at the market helping me and was the perfect model. I suggested the shoot and then ran over to @cams_kiosk and asked if we could borrow an egg, then these INCREDIBLE photos came to life ✨ I love creatives and community, and eggs 🍳

@brookidesign is a playful meeting point of colour, craft and conscious making. Founded by New Zealand designer Brooke, the brand brings together graphic design, collage and upcycled sewing, shaped by her background in visual storytelling and her move to Melbourne a few years ago.
What started as a hands-on creative outlet has grown into a thoughtful practice — transforming secondhand finds into one-off pieces full of personality. Every material is sourced from op shops, giving discarded items a new life while gently pushing back against landfill waste.
Her work is bright, joyful and a little bit cheeky, inspired by both collage artists and fellow upcycling creatives. It’s design that doesn’t take itself too seriously, but still carries intention.
As she prepares to move to London, this marks her final market in Melbourne — a small but meaningful moment to experience her work before the next chapter begins.
