At the end of this reel, you’ll see a sticky note that says, “trust in the Lord, and lean not on your own understanding.”
What’s crazy is how that even got to me.
There were months and months of planning this conference, and at the same time, months of life really testing me. I felt like I had the weight of everything on my shoulders, trying to figure it all out, trying to hold it all together, and not really having the answers to literally anything.
So anyways, we created an activation called “leave a sticky, take a sticky,” where people could write something for someone else to take. And out of all the notes that could’ve been there, I picked that one.
A woman wrote that message, and she probably has no idea how much it meant to me in that moment. But that’s the thing… if she never shared that, if no one shared the idea to even create that activation, if people didn’t share their gifts, their thoughts, their words—we wouldn’t experience moments like that.
It reminded me that we’re not meant to have everything figured out, and we’re definitely not meant to do life alone. Sometimes the only thing we’re being asked to do is trust, even when it doesn’t make sense.
I can honestly say the only reason I’ve gone from a life I was scared of to a life that actually fills me up is because I started sharing—my story, my struggles, my achievements—and allowing myself to connect with others.
So if you’re in a season where everything feels heavy and unclear, this is your reminder to trust in God, not your own understanding, and to keep sharing… because you never know who needs it, or how it might come back to you 🤍
