Smash Game 1 - Titans Win by 71
Having been put into bat the team made a strong start.
A quick 20 from TG, with 50* for H and Liam ensured a good total of 163.
Good consistency by the bowlers and excellent fielding, meant that Orpington weren’t able to get away in the power play, and were always under pressure and behind the rate. Pressure told and wickets fell, 2 a piece for a Packer & Hrishi, ensuring a Titan victory in Game 1.
Excellent bit of midweek fun, a game played in great spirits.

Women’s team play first league game, on a slightly fresher Sunday. The sun did not want to come out but the smiles and fun were there anyway.
Bowling first the team restricted Bromley Falcons 132
Wickets for Kylie, Rachel & Ellie plus a run out (see video highlights)
A shame that Milly Ks catch was out of shot.
With the bat runs for Sarah P 23, Milly K 22 & Sophie M 11* got the team close but just fell short of the win.
Technical difficulties mean no batting highlights 👎🏻
Training on a Friday evening the team will be working hard and having fun ahead of their next match at the end of the month

1s fought hard but lose league opener
excellent opening partnership of 139 from TG 85 and Armenakis 43 supported with a quick 30 from Liam.
3 wickets each for Luke and Twose, but not to be for the 1s
2s batted first with lots of starts, Chris 31, Eddie 25, Al 20, Matti 20, but no one going big to post a larger total
The team fought hard in the field, Vivek with 3 wickets and Chris with 2, but not to be for the 2s
Our 3s team making a league debut (at least for the first time in play cricket history)
Bowling first the openers got the town off to fantastic start, JR 4/4 and Ellie 3/29 supported well by Nick 2/16 meant 80 was needed to win.
Bharat 29* and Gareth 23* got the team over the line with an excellent partnership, after Gerry 7 and Gezza 15 made a good start to the chase.
