Welcome to the West Wickham Repair Café, join us on Saturday 16th May 10:30AM - 1PM for a fun and eco-friendly event.
Bring your broken items and our skilled and experienced repair volunteers will help you fix them for free! Whether it's a wonky toaster, a wobbly chair or a moth holed jumper, we've got you covered. Let's reduce waste and learn new skills together. See you there!🔧🔨🪛🪚🔩⚙️

We got off to a wonderful start with our first in person Bromley Libraries #GLLLiteraryFoundation event at the newly refurbished Mottingham Library on Monday. Penny Chrimes delivered a fascinating and engaging session to a Year 4 class from a local primary school.
As well as celebrating #NationalShareAStoryMonth by reading an extract from her Moonshifter novel, Penny talked about her journey into writing, what inspires her and what books she loved growing up. She also challenged the children to imagine ‘what if?’ and to think about what animal they would choose to shape shift into.
Huge thanks to Penny for a brilliant afternoon inspiring children to read and write their own stories and to Esther and Claire from Mottingham Library for hosting! 😊

Join us for Pictures Alive next Monday 18th May from 4-5pm at Orpington Library when we will be exploring the picture books written by GLL Literary Foundation author Donna David.
We will be reading three of her fantastic picture books including her most recent one, ‘The Awesomely Adventurous Librarians’ illustrated by Victoria Stebleva
We will be making awesomely adventurous bookmarks and everyone will receive a special reading passport!!
