And playing Van’s girlfriend, EMILY, is the lovely Faith Knapp (she/her). Faith is an American actress based in California. She holds a BFA in Acting from the University of Central Florida and moved to Los Angeles in 2021 to focus on her film career.
Recently, Faith appeared in the independent film Into the Rabbit’s Den, directed by Rion Ezra and Carson Malone. She also had the opportunity to work on Nickelodeon’s The Thundermans Return, along with several independent short films. Faith recently wrote a short play, Sitting Next to me, which will premiere in January.
A lover of books-especially those by Taylor Jenkins-Reid-Faith spends her time off set; surfing, kickboxing and teaching kids musical theatre. You can often find her on a “mental health walk,” usually with a matcha in hand.
We’re so excited to finally announce our cast, starting with our immensely talented lead, Veronica Cedeño (she/her), as VAN. A Miami native and former dancer, Veronica has played roles as diverse as “Natalia” in a recent reimagining of the classic “Rebel Without a Cause” to a nonconformist teenage rebel in “Mezzo”. She’s extremely passionate about acting and enjoys spending time with her pets and family.
Alex Ontiberos (she/her) grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she earned her Film BA from the University of Nevada - Las Vegas, all while working with a local team as their 1st Assistant Director. After graduation, she traded the bright lights of Las Vegas for the magic of Walt Disney World, where she spent time as a performer before deciding to take the leap and move to California to pursue her Master’s in Writing and Producing for Television at Loyola Marymount University.
A Philosophy Major turned Screenwriter & Assistant Director, Dylan Yang (he/him) originally hails from Boston, MA. Besides film, Dylan loves music; he sings, beatboxes, and has played saxophone for over 15 years. He recently joined an exclusive fight club called “Owning Two Cats.”

Lidong Wang (she/her) is a filmmaker and producer. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in New Media from Alma College in Michigan in 2022, she began her career in the film industry, contributing to the production of numerous short films and television programs.
In 2023, she directed her first personal short film, “Passenger,” which received significant acclaim. The film was selected for the Global Film Festival Awards, Atlantis Award, and Diamond Bell International Film Festival, and won the Best Student Short Film award at the Subathra International Film Festival.
Subsequently, she enrolled at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) in Los Angeles to pursue a Master’s degree in Film Production, specializing in Documentary Filmmaking and Creative Producing. During her time at LMU, she collaborates with many talented young directors, serving as the producer for over ten short films.
Sofia Riccio (she/her) is a second-year MFA Film and Television Production candidate at LMU. She began her film journey at Hofstra University in New York, where she earned degrees in Film Production and Psychology. Since then, Sofia has shot over 20 films, bringing a unique and captivating visual style to each project.
Sofia most enjoys shooting films with psychological undertones and shooting in unique locations. Her aim is to make audiences feel and reflect through her distinctive style.
When she’s not behind the camera, you can find Sofia at the beach enjoying a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
