Turnpike x Broken Bow is officially out now
Thanks to everyone that came to visit us at Rodeo All Star Weekend in Denver,
God bless y’all, hope you love it,
- Broken Bow
1 Million followers: I’ll admit it it was terrifying to drop out of college to follow a dream, but I feel safe to say I made the right decision.
I wouldn’t do this unless I knew I was in it for something a lot bigger than clothes, music, or any of the individual things Broken Bow does.
This is something that I hope revives a faithful part of America that’s been lost. I’ll do it as long as people that believe in it, and I hope the changes start show through.
Thank you to all of you. It’s truly been because of you and God.
Couldn’t have picked a better day than Sunday for this to happen,
God bless you all, thank you,

Dennis Hopper would have been 90 years old today.
One of the most influential actors, directors, and general leaders of a dying culture in the ladder half of the 1970s.
He left the world with a handful of films that captured the brief moment in the sun that the counterculture movement had in Hollywood and the United States as whole.
His films pushed the envelope of what was even acceptable to talk about in American movies, and made a way for many filmmakers and musicians to follow.
“A walking contradiction, partly truth, partly fiction, taking every wrong direction on his lonely way back home”

As of May 6th, 1.6 million acres of public land in Alaska lost its protection from pipeline and mining development.
The land was handed back over to the state after 67 years, thus losing its status as federally protected public land.

Old Coleman coolers and Broken Bow are the only two constants in this fast changing world, and we’ve been lugging both around the beautiful state we’re blessed to live in.
It’s important to go see the stuff that never changes.

Creedence Clearwater Revival prior to any major fame eating outside of a Taco Bell, 1968, San Luis Obispo, California
The group was weeks from their first ever hit, and they were still relatively underground enough to sit outside without being mobbed.

“Big Rock Candy Mountain” is a song that anyone who hasn’t known where they were going to sleep that night knows all too well. It remains the anthem of all rambling men.
Sam Lagos is a Colorado musician brings this folk standard into a light more akin to grunge music than folk, giving it much sharper tone that brings new life to the original writing. Coupled with some killer banjo picking ability, Mr. Lagos composes this song in way never seen before.
Broken Bow was proud to have Sam on. They’re some of the few folks trying to keep Americana tradition and music alive, and we’re always happy to record with him.

“Steamboat” is the name of the real-life bucking bronco that was traced exactly as the sillouhette featured on most all Wyoming license plates and state signs
At one time, he was the most famous bucking horse in American rodeo, given his name because he smashed his own nose in a bucking-fit during his castration, making his breathing sound like a steamboat whistle every time he exhaled.
Though he died 112 years ago, he is immortalized in Wyoming iconography within the state’s government and its university.

Proud and grateful that Broken Bow was able to draw the past three covers for Buffalo Traffic Jam’s album and singles.
Their new album releases July 31st, and it’s looking like it’s going be just as great as everything else they’ve put out recently.
God bless the fellas @buffalotrafficjam
