I said boo ya and then I said yes!
About two weeks after Molly and I had started seeing each other, I stumbled upon this song. We were at that beginning awkward / obsessed with each other phase and were constantly on the phone with each other. I remember wanting to send her this song but knew that was too soon. But it was true. I loved her. I already felt it. And I feel it more and more every day. And I will love her forever 💛
When was the last time you did something to honor yourself? Welllll, this is mine 🤍 A few months ago, this idea that’s been stuck in my head since I was 22 returned to me but this time louder than ever before. Instead of attempting to hush it once more, I decided to honor it. Sooooo I am hosting an interactive art show in LA in February! Please follow @iaktwijdkhtst for all of the updates 🫶🏻 I CAN’T WAIT FOR THIS!!! 31 here we come!
I’ve been having a difficult time with social media lately. I’m so genuinely happy to see my friends posting about big beautiful moments in their lives while at the same time scrolling to the next post and seeing harm done to human beings across the globe. It’s a beautiful thing to be so connected but at the same time it can sometimes feel insincere to come on here and post a highlight reel with the beautiful life that I am lucky to live while there is such tragedy happening. But I have found that it’s important not only for myself but for others to share your voice and opinions even if it does feel overwhelming. So here’s me doing that. I love science and our national parks, I want free healthcare for everyone, I want people to be able to immigrate here and live a better life, I want women to have the reproductive health they so choose, I want clean air and water for everyone, I want criminal justice reform, I want better mental healthcare for those in need, I want people to be able to love who they love and love them proudly, I want people to feel safe in being themselves, I want better funding for our schools and teachers, and more than anything I want peaceful conversations to happen so that we can find our common ground as Americans just genuinely trying to live our own little beautiful lives. We all have so much in common but the rhetoric that’s pushed on these apps just focuses on dividing us and it’s only through us openly communicating with one another that we will be able to find a better future❤️
