11 years ago, @squiremiller was one of the first 5 ambassadors for @lululemon outside North America. Originally he thought it was a joke, but ended up being inspired by his fellow ambassadors and especially by the original founder @chipwilsonofficial to move away from competition bodybuilding and hardcore group fitness to the world of yoga.
At the time in 2012, only 13% of participants in yoga were men. So “Broga” took up the mantle to create both a brand and system of yoga that would appeal to men, fitness minded folk and beginners in general.
And from those first free heaving packed classes in the hidden second floor alley showroom in Chelsea London a star was born .
We went on to service major gym chains including @gymboxofficial@nuffield.health@davidlloyduk@fitnessfirst_uk_official , teach at fitness and yoga festivals around the world - as well as serving the @royalairforceuk@royalmarines@royalnavy as the official yoga provider.
Along the way over two thousand inspiring teachers were certified in over 10 countries around the globe to teach accessible yoga to a new generation of practitioners.
But times and the fitness business has changed, and it is time to move on.
It has been a huge privilege and passion to have helped in some small way the more positive perception of yoga and help allow more people access it benefits.

Flashback to our very first marketing avert by @designerdesignerstudio .
Back then we were the first people to ( controversially) market yoga to a male audience and push a masculine vibe. But back then only 10% of westerner yoga practitioners were men.
Today we are proud to have had a small part in moving the dial in the direction of EVERYONE having access to yoga regardless of gender - with male statistics now reaching well over 30%
