Went for a walk today with 30,000 or so mates
I'll be back to work tomorrow, supporting some amazing kids and doing the only proper job I've ever genuinely loved, and I'll be doing so alongside the lowest paid teachers in the country, and with other education support workers who aren't paid anywhere near what their work is worth.
The kids we work with deserve the absolute best, now and into the future. That includes staff that aren't burning out, and are instead valued, motivated, and supported to stay in the profession long term.
I'm so proud of everyone who joined the strike today to demand better. Pretty incredible thing to be part of.
Hi! I don't really use social media much anymore - it's nice! But I figured I should stop by and let you know my first gig of 2026 will be up in Sydney, Gadigal Country, with mates @billyp_and_thementalhealthplan on Jan 10th, a week from today! Haven't been up that way for a few years, hopefully I'll catch up with a bunch of lovely folk while I'm there!
