Visions Invitational @ PDX RC Undergroundšļø
Home and rested from what was probably the most fun event of the year thus far. I had a great time being at PDX for my first time. I experienced good racing and amazing hospitality. I met new people and caught up with old friends. And I got some valuable track time for the ROAR Carpet Nationals.
The Reedy Race format was certainly entertaining. 12 races, heads up, on carpet, gnarly. You had to make quick and aggressive work of your competitors. Despite some not so good starting spots when I raced good people and not a lot of freebies, I was still able to get the job done for P1 overall š„
Both of my
@schumacher_racing buggies were fantastic to drive.
@whitzracing was keeping me lightweight and rolling free. No power changes were required to my
@hobbywing electronics.
@jconcepts aero and tires, lasted forever and were hooked up.
@gensacerc batteries provided race security.
@savoxusa servos were smooth and consistent. And my
@flyskyrc_official radio kept me feeling confident.
Thank you to all of my sponsors for the fantastic support and s/o to Kevin Focht, the owner of PDX, for convincing me to go! I will for sure be back. If you havenāt been here before, I recommend you check it out sometime!
Tomorrow morning I fly out to Coastal RC Speedway for the East Coast Meltdown. 1 more race in the 3 week bender!š„
