Congrats to all our racers, it was an amazing day and we loved seeing everyone in high spirits (even if the river was a bit low). Thanks once again to all our amazing volunteers who make races happen.
We've just gotten in from clearing all the checkpoints; give us a few days to sort through all the pictures, we've got a LOT of great shots to share very soon.
It was not just a good day for racing, it was a great day for racing. While the 15hr racers push against the midnight finish clock, rhe 4hr racers are tucked in cozy getting some sleep. @broadrunoffroad always puts on a great race and today was no exception. Racers raced in and around Fredericksburg Virginia, including on the Rappahannock River and in and around Motts Run Reservoir. As always the volunteers were amazing and now my boys are excited for the next race!
Out here at the Spring Bloom 15hr AR they have a special CP here in the famous Fredericksburg Rock Quarry just off 95. One person from each team has to use a stand up paddle board to get across the Quarry to the CP. This is my recommendation on a way to not fall into the water. Tired and cold legs can make this more challenging.... just ask Rose.. IYKYK

First time back to Germantown Lake since Fall Foliage AR 2021. Paddling practice for the boys. Still an awesome spot, love the creek/cascade spot, still stinks the water was too low back in Fall 2021 to have the checkpoint back there.
