Sometimes It's the most mundane things in the background that sell the authenticity of a movie scene. Designing labels for these household items, which often come with a horrible design in real life, can be a lot of fun too. As a graphic designer working on props, you sometimes have to remind yourself to NOT make things too perfect. Because a young boy in the 1960s probably doesn't have the same steady hand for assembling his Winnetou poster.
