Toast your bread, slap your cottage cheese on top, slice a few cherry toms, mix a couple of teaspoons of Za’atar (we stock this if you don’t have a freezer full of the stuff at home 👀) with a good glug of olive oil and drizzle on top. Finish with a pinch of sea salt and your fav chili flakes. Thank me later ✌🏼

Nour is setting out on a new adventure. The family-run grocer has already reopened just down the road on Coldharbour Lane as @brixtonbazaar , an international shop and halal butcher.

LOCAL Brixton was heavily involved in the Save Nour campaign over lockdown; so it is really heartening to see a new Shaheen business opening (without the current market owners as landlords…!)

Today marks a truly special day for us — the grand opening of our new store!
We’re so happy to have found a new home here in Brixton and can’t wait to welcome both new and familiar faces through our doors. Serving this amazing community means everything to us, and we’re excited for all the moments ahead.
This journey hasn’t been easy, and I’m incredibly proud of my husband, who has worked tirelessly to make this dream a reality. The long days, the late nights, the challenges — all of it has led to this glorious feeling of finally opening.
