Goodmorning again from the past. Some photos I took of my little sister back in 2020. In the moment, we were just playing at the studio, but in the real world we were deep in the chaos of what our life had suddenly become & in the heaviest part of navigating complex loss, yet in a sea of support, and seemingly still filled with love for life & a relentless desire to understanding the balance of its joy, and grief as they both dance beside each other forever. I remember this song being my secret anthem, driving home from long wedding days in the dark searching for every single hopeful feeling and somehow finding it around every corner. @bootesontheground
A few snaps from the last half a decade or so that caught my eye. Entering my 9th year in business and when I look back at all the seasons, the eras, the experiments, I think about how my clients always gave me so much freedom, they just let me be, they allowed themselves to be so generously open. They were gracious always and patient as I “figured something out quick” in my camera. I don’t think they realize, maybe some do, but how much their trust + support had such a profound impact on me creatively, professionally, mentally and personally. Going to keep sharing these moments from the past to look back on as I enter this 9th season in business. Hope you guys liked this little journey back.
