Quick trip to Lombok for the swell. It was amazing surfing Deserts again for the first time in 5 years.

This past swell at Deserts was so hectic—one of the most tense lineups I’ve ever seen. I spent most of the day in the water and only caught a handful of waves. I have had a lot of luck in Indo so far but I got so beat up this trip. Ended up with sliced-up feet, a chafed butt cheek, and 5 stitches. Now, I’m limping around, on antibiotics for infections, and it hurts to sit.
Feeling super grateful for everything nonetheless and trying to take this as an opportunity to slow down. I can’t wait to heal already but being forced to relax feels nice. It made me realize I haven’t stopped moving since I arrived in Indo.
If anyone has recommendations for podcasts, music or fun activities to do when you can’t move much, let me know 🤣

I love teaching. I love holding space where people can soften and feel open. I love meeting new souls, hearing new stories, discovering new ways of moving through the world. And I love being part of a team that cares and loves so much.

I’ve been focused on coaching and guiding for @saltygoddessretreats this trip but got to snag a session for myself a couple days ago. Restaurants has eluded me on nearly every trip to Fiji. Im always dreaming of getting it good, and this swell finally gave me a small taste! I feel so lucky to have caught this one because shortly after the rocks began popping up in the lineup and it started shutting down. It all about windows here. I’ve been moving through this season quietly, focusing my energy inward as I reorient, unlearn, and open myself to growth. Returning to Costa Rica felt like the perfect chance to embody everything I’ve been cultivating. I had the honor of helping to hold space for a women’s retreat alongside one of my best friends and other women I deeply admire. Together, we welcomed an incredible group whose presence felt like such a gift!
For the first time, I truly felt myself stepping into leadership excitedly and wholeheartedly. I return home renewed, proud of who I’m becoming, and grateful for the path that keeps unfolding before me.
Looking forward to sharing more about the retreat itself soon @saltygoddessretreats . In the meantime, here’s me finding rejuvenation after the week, channeling my inner forest fairy ;)
