Next up we have international champions and Bristol’s award-winning mixed a cappella group, it’s The Bristol Suspensions! They’re known for their stunning vocals, versatile sets, slick choreography, and that signature shade of maroon.
The Suspensions achieved an impressive set of accolades over their 12 years of activity, including winning the 2024 Solevoci A Cappella Festival, and winning the ICCA UK Semi-Finals in 2021. Standing on the shoulders of previous gens giants, even with only 3 staying members this year, they managed to bring all the newcomers up to speed and to place 3rd on their ICCA quarter-finals!
The Suspensions bring shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival every year since their very first gen, including the zoom Fringe in 2020, and in the most recent run of 2025 they achieved ‘best acapella show’ Derek award. So naturally, they’re super excited to bring their new show 1-800-Harmony-Line to Fringe 2026! If you’re in Edinburgh this August, come to watch them!
When in Bristol they can be found busking - bringing passion, excitement and electricity to their performances. They can’t wait to bring that same energy to the stage in London!
