Well that was a float unlike any I’ve had in the 20+ years I’ve been doing this stretch. You just know it’s gonna be a good year on the water when you flip your canoe in flat water. And then float for 5.5 hours without paddling and realize you’ve gone 25 miles.
Egos once again took a good swift kick in the face and everything remains covered in mud. Wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Oh and there were some towers climbed somewhere in there too.
100+ miles, 10K of vert, and 20 hours of driving. We ate (a LOT), we laughed (a LOT), and we know more medical and science trivia facts than I’d like to admit after shouting answers at the windshield for 10 hours straight.
This man puts more sunshine and joy into the universe than anyone I’ve ever met. I sure do love you Phillip. #phorthephanboyz #youknowwhoyouare #philzphishtacos
Well I’m glad the three week full body rash is over. Whew. My knees aren’t glad this was the first thing to try right after though. 🤦🏽‍♀️ #worthit #ialwayshaveanexcuse
ET’s finger/the lightbulb/James Tower/ I dunno but that’s my guy on top of it. And waiting at the bottom is a whole bag of Annie’s cheese puffs that we would soon demolish. #thatstruelove

Never will I ever find a better place to be than in the veins of Mother Nature herself. An awesome trip my friends. I can’t wait to howl at the moon with y’all another time.
Needless to say, I’ve felt like an introverted hermit loner since this semester started. We made some epic plans for my birthweekend, and I had to bail at the last minute to STUDY.
I’m honestly elated, humbled, and extremely grateful for all of you incredible people that are in my life. Y’all made yesterday a PERFECT day for me, no matter what it took, or how much time I couldn’t spare. THANK YOU and I LOVE YOU.
