Thank you to all my truly special colleagues, the whole Paddington family you are so brilliant led by the genius that is @tomfletcher @jessicaswale and @lukejshepparduk . Bringing Tom’s incredible songs to life has been an enormous honour. 7 Oliviers!!! 11 nominations! Totally stunning. And whist I didn’t quite bring my personal category home this year I have won in every single way with both my amazing Paddington family and my wonderful wonderful family who you see in the pictures above. They are my universe. @petersandrabrind you are the greatest parents anyone could ever wish for. @sophiegrimesxx you are a very very special young lady. @alfiejackbrind and @frankiejackbrind I am beyond lucky that I’ve been given the chance to be your dad.. you boys are my total inspiration and it’s my life’s ambition to try everyday to be the best dad I can be, and @laurakatebrind I love you more than words… you are the absolute backbone of everything I do and of our of family. I’m fairly certain I’m the luckiest guy on the planet with these lot in my corner.

📣 Out today on Christmas Eve: ‘Pudsey and the Thread of Hope’! It’s a magical film for BBC Children in Need @bbccin for which I conducted the soundtrack with the @bbcphilharmonic . The film features the title single ‘Thread of Hope’, written and sung by @tomfletcher and his son Buzz. 🥳 I’m so delighted to say that this song is the 2025 Children in Need Single!! 🥳 The animation’s story follows Jai as he embarks on a journey of healing, hope and adventure with Pudsey. Along the way, they meet other children connected by a golden thread of kindness and empowerment. The music is a beautiful collaboration between Tom Fletcher and @brindmatthew , and it has been inspirational to be a part of the project. Lush morning at the premiere of Pudsey and the Thread of Hope with my lovely family. A massive joy to compose the score for the animation with @tomfletcher who also wrote this really beautiful story superbly produced by @melhtaylor We are on BBC 1 on Christmas Eve in the morning, so get your popcorn ready, your tissues by your side, prepare yourself for a heart warming tale, and tune in.
