Some close ups of the fish from our collaborative project we made for the Clay in Education fundraiser at @ceramicshowcase . Pursuits Studio members got together and made little ceramic fish that @brimerceramic and @slowclubceramics saggar fired with metals and combustibles to create unique patina finishes. The final pieces were assembled into a wall hanging and sold at Ceramic Showcase.

When OPA put out a call for donations for a fundraiser taking place at @ceramicshowcase I thought it would be a cool project for a members’ night get together. For the fish themed installation I asked everyone to make small fish that could be assembled into a wall hanging piece. @slowclubceramics and I saggar fired the clay fish to give them an aged patina. I’m sorry if you didn’t get to see this piece in person because it sold almost immediately at @ceramicshowcase this weekend. Thanks to my studio members for taking part and trusting the vision! ✌🏻🐟 @oregonpotters #ceramicshowcase2025 #ceramicshowcase
