I am so lucky to have started working with Christy, Linda, Naomi and Cindy as teenagers in the 80’s and consequently watched them grow into their power in the 90’s until this day.
At the time we were a small coterie of hair stylists, makeup artists, stylists and photographers who traveled and worked on an international stage with these ladies on a regular basis. It truly felt like we were a very exclusive extended family.
The new @appletv docuseries “The Super Models” about these amazing women is definitely bringing me back. I remember the closeness of fashion’s glory days like it was yesterday!

Mr Valentino has left this runway. I think with fondness of the early 90’s during which I had the honor of keying 8-9 of his big shows as well as numerous campaigns. He could discuss shades of red lipstick with meticulous nuance. As the date of the show approached he would do fittings and rehearsals at all hours of the day and night. La prova, he called it. It was not for the faint of heart but I learned so much from the process. Here are a few of the favorite looks we did.
