Getting my boxing training on 🥊💪🏿 Such a great way to stay fit, feel healthy, clear my mind, and let some stress out. Movement really is medicine
What’s something you like to do to de-stress? Remember, time to see the bright side of things. ✨

The opinions that matter most are the ones from people who truly know, love, and support you and not everyone watching from the outside. Stay focused, protect your peace, and keep moving forward. Time to see the bright side of things. ✨

Consulting for accessible environments is such rewarding work. There’s something powerful about helping ensure buildings, physical spaces, and digital platforms are more accessible for individuals living with disabilities.
Recently, I had the opportunity to do accessibility testing alongside colleagues in a building downtown Toronto. It was a great experience using my lived experience and expertise in a meaningful way, including testing an audible accessible elevator and providing feedback on audio navigation for individuals who are blind or low vision.
Accessibility goes beyond checking boxes — it’s about creating spaces where everyone can navigate, participate, and feel included. Looking forward to continuing this work and helping create more inclusive environments physically and digitally.
If anyone has opportunities related to accessibility testing or consulting, feel free to reach out. Always seeing the bright side of things.

Congratulations to @thesaferoomofficial and Shon William on reaching a 200 episode milestone 🎉
@luvbaymedia
It was a pleasure being a guest on the show at one point and also getting to celebrate as part of the audience for a live episode.
Shon continues to show that with hard work and genuine connection, you can accomplish massive goals.

Mindset Monday ✨
Inspired by the Michael Jackson movie.
Your light is your power.
Don’t let anyone dim it.
Shine anyway. Shine louder.
Time to see the brightside 🌞

Two identities. One story. 🇬🇭✨
This is more than a cane—it’s culture and pride,
🔴 Red: the sacrifice made for independence
🟡 Gold: the richness of the land and resources
🟢 Green: growth, life, and connection to the earth
⭐️ Black Star: African unity and strength
Being able to bring together my experience with low vision and my Ghanaian roots like this. it hits hard
And the timing couldn’t be better with the FIFA World Cup coming up 🇬🇭⚽️
How else should I show Ghana pride. Through Music, fashion, food—let me hear your ideas 👇🏾
A reminder that there’s always a way to see the bright side of things.

Back in the ring after a while 🥊
What stood out most? The adaptability. Training was built around me—high-contrast pads, clear audio guidance, and hands-on direction that helped me stay fully connected to every movement.
Got to work the bag, sharpen my combinations, and really focus on my footwork. Being in the ring again made it feel real… like yeah, we’re doing this.
Moments like this remind me that sight loss doesn’t take away what I love—it just pushes me to approach it differently. And that’s where the growth happens.
Grateful for the experience and ready to keep showing up, learning, and improving every session.
Always choosing to see the brightside 🌟

First boxing session in a while 🥊
What stood out most? The adaptability. The training was tailored to me, where pads were high contrast, was given audio instruction and hands on direction. I got to fully tap into the experience—working the bag, sharpening my combinations, and dialing in my footwork. Being in the ring made it all feel real… like yeah, we’re really doing this.
Moments like this remind me that sight loss doesn’t take away the things I love—it just challenges me to approach them differently. And honestly, that’s where growth lives.
Grateful for the experience, and even more excited to keep showing up, learning, and getting better every session.
Always choosing to see the brightside of things 🌟

it’s Monday, so you know what that means 👀
Let’s start the week with something fresh.
What’s one thing you’re looking forward to this week?
#brightsidescope #mindsetmatters #mondaymonday
I’ve never let anyone else define what I’m capable of.
It’s always been about showing up, showing out, pushing limits, and creating my own path.
Every day I’m stepping into spaces I once thought weren’t for me… and making them mine.
What’s something people doubted you could do? Another chance to see the brightside of things.

First run of the year — 10K at Foxtail Trail in Dundas.
@happytrailsracing
It pushed me, but that’s what made it worth it.
Low vision doesn’t stop the passion — just means adapting and moving forward.
Grateful for my guide David for keeping me on track.
What’s one challenge you’ve been putting off lately?

Found a different version of myself out here…
Slower, calmer, more present.
Where do you go when you need to reset? Another instance to see the brightside of things.
