There’s something about slowing down that brings everything back into focus. This Easter long weekend in Bright felt like a reset at the most perfect timing. No rush, just space to breathe, reflect, and be present with each other. We’ve decided this becomes our thing. A yearly pause where we travel somewhere. A tradition that pulls us out of the pace we live in and brings us back to what has always mattered. Somewhere between the quiet mornings, long hikes (the Big Walk up Mt Buffalo 🥵 - damn!), and exploring this beautiful town, I found myself falling even deeper in love 🥹. Not in a loud way, just in the stillness where everything is certain. Fay and Bushy’s Love Shack holds something special (Nearly 1000+ 5-star reviews at time of posting - @brightloveshack ). It’s not just a place, it’s a feeling. Grounded, intentionally detailed at every turn, and a little bit sacred. This is one we’ll come back to. And one we’ll bring our people into. Some places you visit once. Others stay with you; forever. We’re so blessed x As seen on Airbnb and Riparide: @brightloveshack (Book directly via @riparide ). And shoutout to @im_bush for having the coolest parents!

WELL we made it … feeling that we all were on top of the world and quite chaffed about our achievements Once there we chatted laughed and just took it all in .Fifteen minutes or so there then our long descent down Again we all couldn’t have wished for a picture perfect day . Along our way down we were greeted by a group of Condors flying not so far above us quite a show they performed with their wide spread wings gliding effortlessly , just checking us all out they were .A long day up and back ending up fairly late in the evening at our new camp site sleeping in 5 star tents style accommodation ….Cosy as …. Please enjoy our day

Happy snap moments riding now up and through the Hidden Valley to the top .Another big day in the saddle close to 10 hrs a big climb ( will post more tomorrow ) A little tricky as through the valley as much as it was beautiful to the top we had to dodge a lot of boggy patches so a little on the slow side of things hey but we were blessed with the warmth on our backs

Our first mountain climb with breath taking views 6 hrs in the saddle What can I say about these horses A WOW FACTOR they just motored up strong and steady hardly blowing out a candle . We experienced travelling through forests with a lot of fallen down trees in which all horses navigated smoothly and calmly through. Also passing through a little area where we can see beavers habitat with their dam wall and little homes in the middle of the dam cute I say ?????mark though for the locals though

A very easy 3 hr in the saddle today still covering alot of vast open land great day no wind and sun shining . Loving my new horse big hearted gentle giant he is that covers the ground with such ease. We ended up our day with lots of laughter great food and wine. Our accomodation as you can see are these specially built caravan s which are super warm and comfy.

History time staying at estancia San Jose in a restored barn once used by the estancia as its carpentry and shearing station A beautifully renovated and the carpentry shed is now turned into a 5 star accom with our own ensuite and fire . We are in the middle of no where at times we were travelling alongside the Chilli boarder not much l to see except wide scape land with fences you can see for miles and miles. And alpacas by the herds. They are our equal to Kangaroos only difference are that they are protected . Again another windswept day great lunch time spot where we ate Seaford pialla ( ps how did you like our mounting block today pretty cool hey )
