Hi! I’m Kelly, President of Brighterside Casting.
I’ve spent the last 20 years in reality TV, starting as an audience coordinator before falling into casting—and I’ve never looked back. I’ve worked across multiple genres as a casting producer/director and was even Emmy nominated along the way.
After years of freelancing, I launched Brighterside Casting, which has cast shows like Temptation Island (Seasons 1 & 2) and The Later Daters on Netflix, to name a few.
I love meeting new people, discovering great talent, and working alongside some of the best in the industry. We have new projects being announced soon, and I can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on.
When I’m not casting, you’ll find me enjoying the SoCal life—either at the beach or snowboarding with my family 🏖️🏔️

Hi! I’m Melanie, Casting Manager at Brighterside Casting.
I started my casting career back in 2007 as an assistant on MTV’s NEXT and quickly learned that casting was exactly where I belonged. Since then, I’ve spent nearly two decades working across reality TV, from dating and relationship shows to competition and docu-style series, with networks including Netflix, FOX, ABC, NBC, Bravo, VH1, TLC, Food Network, Animal Planet, and more.
At Brighterside, I’m your go-to casting manager, helping bring projects to life and making sure great people end up in front of the camera. I help get people from pitch to set, handling all the behind-the-scenes logistics like background checks, clearances, and making sure everything is locked and ready to roll before cameras go up.
When I’m not casting, I’m in full mom mode or loving on my chocolate lab, Murphy Brown 🐾
