We were lucky enough to spend Easter in France (which feels now like a million years ago) we are in the depths of working & prepping for RHS Chelsea in a few weeks. All good, but nice to look back on calmer times.

Only weeks until we drive up to the big smoke & set up our trade stand for Chelsea. Thisāll be our 4th show so weāre getting into the swing of how it all works and one thing I wanted to do this year was to get the plants for the display planted up a few weeks beforehand so they had time to grow into their pots.
The only wobble Iām having is will they still be flowering š š³
This year I contacted Susie at the lovely local @katiesgardenplants & she & her team were super helpful at advising on which plants are peat free & how I should look after them (cut off the flowers now to encourage more growth by the 19th May) - Letās see how it goes but hereās to the first part of the adventure. I was in heaven wondering round & getting inspired by what the Katieās garden team are growing.
Super excited to see these colours against the walls in less than a monthās time.

A dream project for me.
Earlier this year, I was invited to come and visit the beautiful @kettlesyard to have a behind the scenes tour with the idea to create some special cards for @kettlesyardshop that coincides with the launch of their fantastic new exhibition Handpicked (starting this weekend!)
The designs have been inspired by the flowers arranged in the house at Kettleās Yard in Cambridge.
The former home of Jim & Helen Ede, the house displays the coupleās collection of modern and contemporary art alongside ceramics, plants and objects from nature in a unique domestic setting.
Itās a very special place & I always come away so inspired when I visit .
Iām so pleased with how the cards have turned out. More about the journey of creating the collection on the blog part of my website.
The exhibition is on until the 6th September- I canāt wait to go and see it. š¼šø itās so worth the trip to Cambridge.

New cards! This is Sea Lavender.
A fresh colour palette, a nod to Asian pottery and celebrating the dried flowers of Limonium aka Sea Lavender.
Reminding me fondly of the 80ās mixed with a new vigor - the paper-like flowers and pretty fan scalloped petals really make me smile.šš¤š

I love coming to New Street- there's always a smile from the team when you walk in. The warm, inspiring atmosphere makes this place great for meeting friends, having a solo morning cappuccino or being here with family at the weekend (we are even getting married here later on this year!). Itās got an exciting and welcoming energy and already even in the short time itās been here feels like such a big part of the Woodbridge community.
