The Orangery Cafe & Parkland re-open today (Tuesday 20th August) after an incredible weekend with our @queerspirituk friends and what feels like Festival family. . We thank Mark & the entire Queer Spirit Festival team for their enormous respect, kindness and heart warming sense of community. Save travels onwards to you all. . Our hard working team now focus on opening the Cafe & Parkland daily, and preparing to welcome Uffculme Show & Country Fair to the Estate on Sunday 1st September. . Queer Spirit Festival, 15th - 19th August . The Orangery Cafe & Parkland are now closed for five days. . We welcome @queerspirituk - a unique gathering of spiritually minded LGBTQIA+ people - back to the Estate for the 2nd summer this Thursday. . Five uplifting days of discovery, community co-creation, learning, sharing, respecting, honouring and celebrating will take place from Thursday evening 5pm through to the Sunday evening closing ceremonies. . Performers, facilitators, musicians, magicians, practitioners, healers and artists underpin the exciting programme for this very special event. . Gates to the Estate will be supervised & monitored by Festival organisers from tomorrow morning. . Attendees will start arriving steadily throughout Thursday & Friday daytimes via car share and public transport links. . The event is an inclusive, safe, mindful, spiritual & respectful gathering. . There are no bars or alcohol pitches on site, with the exception of the small bar drinks menu Bridwell will offer guests via The Orangery Cafe as part of a lunchtime or light evening supper. . All music & outside entertainment throughout the event has been licensed, approved, and will be monitored in accordance with Bridwell Event Booking Terms & Conditions. . Noise limitations will be in place from 11pm each evening, to ensure the environment is protected and the integrity of the Estate is upheld. . Total numbers attending across the weekend will not exceed 1000 guests, to include those coming along, those performing, and those managing/facilitating the event. . Festival camping and the event arenas are situated to the left of the main house. . Departures will typically begin on Sunday evening following the closing ceremony, staggered into Monday morning and afternoon. . We will re-open to the public from 10am on Tuesday morning. .
