Thank you to everyone who joined us at EFM for the European–Asian Film Forum.
Bridging Visions (formerly Bridging the Dragon) joined forces once again with the European Film Market @efm_europeanfilmmarket to present a new edition of our long-running forum. This year’s program focused on an industry in transition. New platforms, changing audience habits, and evolving production models are reshaping the film landscape, with many of the most dynamic shifts emerging from Asia.
We were truly encouraged by the depth of the exchange and the strong interest in practical Asia–Europe collaboration. Thank you to our speakers, partners, and all participants for the generous sharing and thoughtful questions. We look forward to turning this dialogue into new connections and future projects.
We extend our special thanks to our funder, Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, @medienboard and to its representative, Oliver Zeller, for opening this edition.

The panel “Exploring China’s New Billion-Dollar Film Boom”, presented by the China Film Association, brought brought major industry names to the stage at Marché du Film.
From Detective Chinatown’s Chen Sicheng to Full River Red’s Chen Yu and UK distributor Cedric Behrel, the conversation covered what’s behind China’s box office magic — and how international teams can be part of it.
Thanks to our partners @mdf_cannes for making this happen — and to everyone who came, listened, and stayed engaged till the very end. 🙌

Looking back at Cannes, we were happy to support the Mongolian Films Pitch Session, where four fresh and ambitious projects from Mongolia took the spotlight at Marché du Film.
Hosted by the Mongolian National Film Council, the session also gave a sneak peek into Mongolia’s growing support for international productions — including up to 45% reimbursement for filming in the country.
The room was buzzing with curiosity and genuine interest. 🧭🎥
Big thanks to everyone who showed up, listened in, and made it such a warm and inspiring morning!
