it’s with much pleasure that i announce that bridge of sand. LP6 titled no fiction is complete and will be released on June 12th . it’s a short offering but a full encapsulation of the time, memories and feelings that were around during it’s ruminated creation.
not the most fun times but necessary. however it is still a genuine work with gut spilling songs and i hope you all enjoy when it releases.
a single titled high tonite will be released this sunday. also, this is not the final cover art thankfully. cheers as always 🪽

the first of a couple of pieces i've been working on about AI generation in music is now live in the latest issue of @newfeelingcoop : i contrast “instant” AI music generation with sampling and think through why AI risks erasing the history and human relationships that give music meaning. I spoke w/ two artists whose use of sampling is at the root of their musical practice and learned a lot about the way sampling informs their work. thanks for chatting with me @thee_ruiner and @bridgeofsand !
