The first set plate of #Biltmore gardens is mostly put in on the Green Line side of my Lego Urban Downtown area. It's hugely part intensive and takes a long time to add this much detail but I really like the way it looks after so much effort. Several plates still to go and more flower parts need ordering, but it's getting there!
It's time to work on my downtown Lego city area. This will include many modular buildings, a train station, and a couple of Marvel skyscrapers! Pedestrians coming off the train can choose to turn left and go down the Blue Line which features a long river walk or they can choose to turn right and go down the Green Line which will feature a city park and lots of fun plants. I have visions of it being a cross between the Biltmore and the Washington DC Mall walk!

I got back to working on my Lego city today. Focus will primarily be on the downtown urban area for the next few weeks. The Blue Line has progressed nicely and so now it's time to put some effort into the Green Line. I have visions of the #Biltmore and the Washington DC mall walk. I need to build a lot of plants!
It's a Lego Pirate Party! The pirates used the parts from a wrecked ship to build a club on the top of the island and now they are tapping the kegs, feeling the vibes from a Rasta pirate, and even walking the plank!
Today we used #Lego #minifigure parts from #princeofpersia, #harrypotter, #drwho, and #monsterfighters to create this #medieval #princess #warrior! What fun characters did you build using parts you had lying around?
Added a bunch more foliage and rock work to the Lego Pirate Island! The detailed terrain takes a long time to put in but it sure looks great once it's been done. What did you build today?
Today I played with this Lego water technique to subtly submerge ships and boats under the plate and tile layers. I think it makes the build look a lot nicer!
I started adding the Lego Goonies set to my Pirate display! There are rocks for the crew to sit on and even some dark blue trans tiles to represent deep water!
My Lego Pirate MOC is even bigger than before! After adding another table, it's up to 6' x 7.5'. That'll give me a chance to have some deep water, add the Goonies display, and much more pirate fun! Yo ho!
The third section of Tortuga was added to my Lego Moc Pirate display and I also started some rock work and foliage on the center island! See you on Monday!
The Lego Pirate Moc got some nice updates today including a big island, an area for markets, a couple of ships, and the beginnings of some tiled water!
