So lucky to be able to work with another group of incredible students in my @iitarchitecture Hybrid Objects class this semester. Before our midterm we were able to go to the archives of H.C. Westernann at @smartmuseum which fueled the class to make work that embraced custom hardware, engraved surfaces and a freedom to make objects that were both functional and abstract. The students final work will be on display for the next few weeks for open house both in Crown Hall and in the gallery space in our 3410 s state building 🍾
