B3B is a genre agnostic collaboration between BBJ, Keylow and ZZ NN that focuses on exploring the fringe sounds and textures of percussion forward dance music, where anything from techno, breaks, bass, dub, club to drum and bass come together as a unified sound. Instead of focusing on one common element, we push each other to dig through the depths to find forgotten or understated music. With 40 years of combined DJ experience, we’ve had a long time to think about what makes dance music important to us: technical practise, deep digging and honouring the history of the music and the instruments.
Amnesia Haze is a queer Qashqai-Irani femme who will leave you intoxicated and a little short of breath. A dancer, poet, and baby DJ, she has slinked across all manner of stages in Vancouver and elsewhere, including the 2024 Vancouver International Burlesque festival. Amnesia is also the producer of AZADI Cabaret & Dance Party (
@azadicabaret ), a showcase of SWANA performance artists and DJs. Her art blends together sexuality, musicality, and poetry. In her sets, you can expect a genre-bending blend of strong percussives and basslines, heady vocals, and pretty melodies. You’ll have trouble forgetting her.
