Yesterday at Capitol Records, Pet Sounds was celebrated for it’s upcoming 60th anniversary and new double-platinum album status. Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and Brian’s family participated in this amazing event!
Brian: “I experimented with sounds that would make the listener feel loved. The album was artistically set out in front of other albums and was, in truth, at the time, my biggest and best production. It was the first time I used more traditional and inspired lyrics which emitted feelings from my soul.”
