In 2001, Elton John reunited with longtime songwriting partner Bernie Taupin to create Songs From The West Coast, bringing in legendary producer Patrick Leonard to shape its sound.
The album was recorded in Studio 1 at EastWest Studios, with iconic engineers Joe Chicarelli and Brian Scheuble leading the sessions.
The project later returned to EastWest for mixing in Studio 5 with Bill Bottrell, all in pursuit of the most timeless sound possible.
