A few more days in the dust than I had planned for this year. Turns out I needed it way more than I realized. This was a special one. Long live “big light, big bass” @groosh__ @spencer.mcdonough @jordan.furlong Jesse ❤️

I’ve skied alone a lot this year and have loved it—it’s how I like to take time to just hang out with myself. But ripping with a crew... those are the days I’ll remember years later. Thanks for giving me another one to remember @andrewwaz @groosh__ @seanjmiller23 @spencer.mcdonough 📸 @andrewwaz 📹 @seanjmiller23

I don’t think we’re in California any more... @spencer_mcsuhdude thanks for an epic ski road trip, stoked to explore the PNW (hopefully mostly by ski tour) 🙌 @myagkovkirill thanks for shredding and showing us around 🤘

Today was the day of hot springs, meaningful work, skiing and a cozy van that I’ve been dreaming about for the past couple years. . . To be honest, I haven’t been feeling great and the constant motion of living on the road, away from my close friends has definitely contributed to it but today... today was a good day and I feel so grateful for all the people who have helped me live this dream. I’m still wanting to make some big changes in my life but taking a moment to enjoy this moment today was pretty great 😌

Growing up in San Diego, I didn’t know fall was a real thing... Thank you @nicolenlsn and Nick, and Shasta for making me see the beauty Utah has to offer 🙏

It’s hard to believe this happened over two weeks ago now but... I went climbing outside!! Not a big deal to a lot of my friends who are already huge climbers but was a big step for me, especially sending a trad route! The circumstances were also pretty special. I met @west_ascent out in Idyllwild at a yellow post site. He had snagged the one I wanted after the road got fixed but he gave me a beer, invited me to camp next to him and said “let’s go climb”. Went out and climbed a boulder and then the next day @unapologeticallymeme joined us and we set out hiking for suicide rock (after some acroyoga and slack lining of course). We got out a little late and finished the climb in the dark but it felt great. All three of us came back with a stoke that is usually reserved for blue bird powder days. I’m still blown away by the generosity and adventurous spirit in these two humans—I have a feeling a lot more adventurous are just waiting for us to stumble upon them. (Also swipe for the bonus doggo at the end 🐶)

What an epic evening, blown away by the creativity and passion of my friend @spencer_mcsuhdude Being out in the middle of nowhere and seeing him and his brother @jacko253 create this environment out of an empty field was super inspiring. Good dry run for Burning Man 2021 😉

So if you know anything about me, you know I’ve been couch surfing, bumming, vaning, etc for about a year and a half now. Made it from Mexico to Alaska, went through 3 different campers, ended a relationship, lost 20 lbs, and gained quite a few unforgettable memories. Over this time I’ve been dreaming of exactly what I wanted to achieve for a living situation. I really wanted a 4x4 van that felt like home. The first one was pretty easy, just signed some papers, but the second one remained illusive for quite a while. I’ve been working on and off, in the alley behind my mom’s condo, in the middle of the desert on BLM land and out at my grandpa’s place. Most of the real work got done out there but I got a lot of time to figure out what a home needs. Its not obvious when you have those things in front of you but it gets blindingly obvious when you don’t have them… (@faizulla_boy knows this better than anyone else) But I’ve finally reached my goal, I have my home and I gotten to place every piece of wood, wire, or tube that makes everything work. The feeling of accomplishment is pretty great, and may turn out to have perpetuated a lifelong addiction to having big dreams and figuring out the details along the way. There is more to say but I’ll save that for another time. I could not have done any of this without @halekini . I could not have achieved this without his patience, guidance, wisdom, kindness and love and best of all, I get to enjoy those qualities whenever I’m home looking at all the work we did. That’s all for now, enough writing, more adventures await! I can’t wait to share everything I’ve learned with anyone who will listen, hit me up!
